Mental health professionals play an extensive role in the treatment and rehabilitation of survivors of torture. Additionally, they play a role in the prevention of torture through the psychological evaluation of the allegation of torture and reporting of findings to be used for legal procedures to fight impunity.

Prison psychiatrists treat inmates with mild to serious mental and emotional disorders (including PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, substance use disorder, and adjustment disorder, among others).

Arranging and Confirming medications delivery appointments
Coordinating with specialists and social workers.

Ensure that transportation fees are disbursed in accordance with the updated transportation price list
Act as a focal point with RESTART’s stakeholders and reconcile their monthly statements before providing them to accounting department for payment.

• Actively collaborates with Restart Center’s multidisciplinary team.
• Administers assessments to adult and/or child beneficiaries at baseline, throughout the course of treatment, and at the end of treatment.
• Prepares a treatment plan for each beneficiary and does adjustments if/when needed.
• Conducts individual therapy sessions with beneficiaries to address symptoms and treatment progress.

Conduct Rapid Assessment interview with targeted populations
Identify and register vulnerable individuals (Social file)
Develop an individual case plan for each beneficiary with clear outcomes and time-frame.
Regularly follow-up, monitor and review the case (Re-assessing vulnerabilities)
Re-develop a case plan and repeat the process if new vulnerabilities arise.
Offer information, support and assistance to people in need.
Liaise with, and make referrals to, other organizations;
Follow-up with beneficiaries to monitor their progress.

The Community-based Psychosocial Support (CB-PSS) Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psycho-social needs assessment to persons of concern (PoCs) among the refugee and host populations in Lebanon. Accordingly, s/he will be developing and providing a tailored CB-PSS program to identified PoCs.

Restart Center is seeking to recruit a Psychomotor Therapist who can work with vulnerable children who display learning difficulties or special needs. The Psychomotor Therapist will be able to help them improve their learning capacity and behavior through the provision of special reeducation and therapeutic tools, psychomotor techniques and comprehensive specialized services.
