The Government of Lebanon GOL has received a US$ 8,2 Million Grant from the World Bank Trust Fund for Lebanon (TFL) to finance the Emergency Poverty Targeting Program Project. the overall objectives of the project is to expand the coverage and enhance the social assistance package of the national poverty targeting program  (NPTP) already established in 2011 under the Lebanon second emergency social protection implementation support project (ESPISP-II)

The Government of Lebanon (GOL) has received financing from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (The “World Bank”) towards Lebanon Emergency Crisis and COVID-19-Response Social Safety Net Program (ESSN). The objective of the $246 million project is to provide cash transfers and access to social services to extreme poor and vulnerable Lebanese populations affected by the economic and COVID-19 crises. A second additional financing was approved for the Project in May 2023, to scale up its activities to meet the rising demand in the country.
