NUWAT – Social Solidarity Center is a Lebanese non-governmental organization, established by the beginning of 2004 and was registered at the Ministry of Interior Affairs as an independent grassroots NGO on May 19^th, 2009, license number 989.

Basically, it operates in the Palestine refugee camps, gatherings and all around Lebanon, for it mainly focuses on advocacy, social, health and educational spheres.

SSC aims at assisting refugees and others marginalized (women, youth, children and needy families) without discrimination or preferences, through providing the needs of the poor families by means of various projects in coordination with the local authorities and NGOs.
