Critical Mass & Ncst Anniversary

To celebrate the anniversary of the National Coalition for Sustainable Transportation in Lebanon and the 20-year anniversary of Critical Mass in the world, the NCST and Critical mass invite you to participate in their event on Sunday September 30.
Meeting point is at Beirut Water Front outside Beirut by Bike at 3:00 p.m. for the start of the bike parade. The route will take you by Mar Mkhayel Bus and Train Station to promote the rebirth of public transportation in Lebanon and those who suffered due to our unsustainable transportation system. Free bikes will be provided. Please feel free to bring your own bike or your own alternate method of transportation, including roller blades, skateboards, tricycles. Come early to reserve your bike.
The NCST continues to work towards the creation of a sustainable transportation system in Lebanon in general, through the passing of a modern traffic law and in pushing for alternative methods of transportation including bike lanes, proper bus routes, inner-city trams and cross-country trains.
