Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is a UK
charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and
Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon.
MAP is seeking to evaluate the three projects its supports under its disability programme in Lebanon as per the attached terms of Reference.

General Union of Palestinian Woman (GUPW) - Lebanon Branch is advertising the position of a special educator to work in the frame of the UNICEF-supported program “Strengthening Community-Based Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, Child Protection, Child Development, Gender Based Violence Prevention and Response Services for populations living within the Palestinian Camps and Gatherings in Lebanon” run in partnership with “Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

This Finance Officer post is for a MAP partner NGO, General Union for Palestinian Women (GUPW), in the fame of the "Strengthening Community-Based Child Protection, Gender Based Violence interventions, and Psychosocial Support in Palestinian Camps and Gatherings in Lebanon" project supported by MAP and UNICEF. I.e. the post holder will not be directly employed by MAP.

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians. The role is within the “Prevention, early detection and management of childhood disability among Palestinian refugees in Lebanon” project. The project will be implemented in partnership with multiple health and disability stakeholders- mainly UNRWA, PRCS, and PDF- and aims to prevent, identify, and manage child disability among the Palestinian community in Lebanon. The primary focus of the role is the collection of high quality health data from a range of sources to support quality improvement.

GUPW has been working in Lebanon since 1965 and operates programs in seven centers in Palestinian camps and gatherings including 19 Kindergartens and nurseries. GUPW also runs two multidisciplinary Early Childhood Development centers and a physiotherapy center. The purpose of this job announcement is to select a qualified Special Educator for a vacant post through a competitive process. The center service offered for of all children residing within Ein El Helweh camp and surrounding regardless of nationality.

The purpose of the post is to assist the MHPSS Programme Coordinator in project formulation, monitoring and reporting of projects, and capacity building activities conducted by MAP and partners.

Part-time Maternal and Child Health Project Administrator for six months Maternity leave replacement.
Job purpose: Data entry and administrative work related to MAP’s Maternal and Child Health project.
Location: Nahr el Bared Palestinian camp. The job includes office work with home visits to mothers in the camp.

The purpose of the post is to assist the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Programme Coordinator in project formulation, monitoring and reporting of projects, and capacity building activities conducted by MAP and partners in the frame of the UNICEF-supported “Strengthening Community-Based Child Protection, Gender Based Violence interventions, and Psychosocial Support in Palestinian Camps and Gatherings in Lebanon” referred hereafter as the MHPSS project.

The purpose of the post is to assist the Programme Manager in projects formulation, monitoring and reporting of projects, and capacity building activities conducted by MAP and partners.

Provide home-based health screening, health care and health advice to mothers and infants up to 1 year of age. The post holder will be responsible for managing their own caseload. They will be expected to make complex autonomous clinical decisions regarding patient care with support and supervision from clinical lead.
