Talk: Lebanese, Refugee, And Migrant Women In Lebanon

Lebanon SupportCordially invites you to a talk on:"Lebanese, refugee, and migrant women in Lebanon: From sociopolitical marginality to turnaround strategies"
While women’s issues and rights have been at the forefront of public and civil society debate, academic, and activist publications, women’s inequalities and the discrimination women face in Lebanon have been notably undermined, whether as citizens, refugees, or migrants.This talk will address the experiences of women in Lebanon, including refugees, workers, and migrants, providing gender-based analyses of the various forms of engagement of women in Lebanon.

The Talks will be held in and interpreted into Arabic, with possibility of discussion in English.

يتشرّف مركز دعم لبنان بدعوتكم لحضور طاولة مستديرة حول:"النساء اللبنانيات، واللاجئات، والمهاجرات في لبنان: من التهميش الاجتماعي السياسي إلى استراتيجيات التحوّل والتغيير"بينما احتّلت حقـوق النسـاء وقضاياهـنّ صدارة النقاشات العامة ونقاشات المجتمع المدني والمنشورات الاكاديمية وتلك الخاصة بالناشطين، استمرّت عدم المساواة والتفرقة تلحق بالنساء فـي لبنان، سـواء أكنّ مواطناتٍ أم لاجئاتٍ أم مهاجرات. ستناقش هذه الندوة تجارب النساء في لبنان، ومن ضمنهنّ اللاجئات والعاملات والمهاجرات، مسلّطتاً الضوء علي مختلف مجالات مشاركة النساء في لبنان.
