HOPES project: The second round is now launched!

CALL FOR PROPOSALS
HOPES provides funding for innovative short- term education projects implemented by local and regional educational institutions. The objective of the call for proposals is to increase the number of refugees of post – secondary age from Syria and young people from host communities enrolled in higher education programmes and training courses including innovative further education options and language courses.

It also seeks to enhance the education and training institutions’ capacity to deal with the specific situation of refugees and provide Syrians and vulnerable youth from the host communities, with opportunities to access further and higher education. It intends to promote refugee education through better access to online resources, innovative courses and educational support.

The second round is now launched!
The HOPES project is launching its second round of Call for Proposals (CfP) to support innovative education initiatives and short-term projects targeting refugees from Syria and vulnerable host communities across Egypt, Northern Iraq (KRI), Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and/or Syria and implemented by local and regional institutions

OPENING THE CALL
The second round of the Call for Proposals will be open from December 18, 2017 till February 20, 2018.

WHO CAN APPLY
Through this Call for Proposals, a maximum of 14 projects will be funded in Egypt, Northern Iraq (KRI), Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey and/or Syria.

Local organizations can request funds for their actions ranging from €6,000 to €60,000 for a maximum duration of 12 months.

INFORMATION SESSION
During the application period, one information session will be organised in all eligible countries: Egypt, Northern Iraq (KRI), Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey to provide more information on the call to potential applicants.
