Lebanese Union for People with Physical Disabilities - Calls

With funding from the Spanish Cooperation Agency (AECID), the Movement for Peace (MPDL), and its partners LOST and LUPD are implementing a project: “Improve the resilience of refugee and host population with disabilities, prioritizing women in Lebanon” focusing on improving resilience and protection of refugee and Lebanese PwDs, especially survivors of GBV.
It aims to improve the resilience and protection of the most vulnerable persons with disabilities and in the face of the worsening humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. The program will provide unconditional cash distribution services.

The Lebanese Union for People with Physical Disabilities (LUPD), a grassroots organization, was founded in 1981, in the middle of the Lebanese Civil War, to advocate for the inclusion, equality, and rights of people with disabilities in Lebanese society.

CBM is seeking to recruit an auditor to perform an audit of the funds received and payments made by the Lebanese Union for People with Physical Disabilities under the project “Enhancing food security and strengthening socio-economic resilience in Crisis in Lebanon”. The Lebanese Union for People with Physical Disabilities has received funds from CBM to implement this project.

LUPD is seeking a Journey Mapping Consultant. The main purpose of his/her assignment is to map out the journeys of different NDA (National Disability Allowance ) recipients to understand their preferences and lived experiences in accessing the NDA and monitor levels of satisfaction in their interactions with NDA delivery mechanisms. The consultant will also identify priority actions for improvement.

LUPD is Looking for Suppliers to provide their offers for service provision of Food supplies, Detergent, and any grocery materials as per the attached TOR.

The present ToR specify the details for the Final External Evaluation of the above mentioned project funded by the the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo, hereinafter AECID) and implemented by the organisation Movement for Peace (hereinafter MPDL) and its partner Lebanese Union for People with Disabilities (hereinafter LUPD) in the Bekaa Valley (municipalities of Barelias and Baalbek).

The project will begin by conducting a market analysis with the assistance of a specialized external consultant in each of the three areas to better understand labor market needs, identify relevant technical skills needs for TVET programs, and optimize the allocation of skilled workers to employment opportunities. The labor market needs to match supply and demand so that unemployment is reduced, economic efficiency is improved and job satisfaction is increased, and incomes are increased.

LUPD is seeking a consultant to develop design, plan, carry out and present the needs assessment report for the “Emergency humanitarian assistance and protection of the most vulnerable PwD, especially women, in the Bekaa Valley”.
