Lebanese Observatory for Workers & Employees Rights - Calls

The Lebanese Observatory for Workers & Employees Rights, an independent non-governmental organization, aims at evaluating and developing its digital strategy, presence and impact; there is a huge need to maximize the reach and to increase the number of services provision beneficiaries, to develop a digital strategy and to build interconnected digital platforms accessible and users friendly.

LOWER is looking for a specialized company to support LOWER in technically designing and developing Web-based open-access interactive virtual youth platform that has the following roles:

- Empower youth by giving access to our e-learning tools
- Inspire youth community in formulizing a clear vision for their involvement
- Involve youth in co-building process with policymakers, integrating their rights in the political debate & concrete actions

A policy brief on " women at work" is to be prepared under the project titled “Promotion of decent work and sustainable business development in Bekaa, Lebanon", with the support of the European Regional Development and Protection Programme for Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq (RDPP II), Oxfam and partners Legal Agenda (LA) and Lebanese Observatory for Workers and Employees’ Rights (LOWER) is implementing in Lebanon.

يبحث المرصد عن مصور مع كفاءة بالمونتاج- D.O.P. للمشاركة في إنتاج برنامج نقدي ساخر حول القضايا الاجتماعية الاقتصادية وكيفية تناولها من قبل المؤسسات الحكومية والنقابية والمجتمع المدني . تنقل حلقات البرنامج ظروف العمل وتوصف واقعه وتتناول قضية العمل في لبنان من جوانب متعددة، سواء من ناحية واقع النقابات بأشكالها المختلفة نقابات تقليدية ومعاصرة ولجان عمالية...، أو المؤسسات الحكومية ووزارة العمل، والمؤسسة الوطنية للاستخدام، والصندوق الوطني للضمان الإجتماع.

LOWER is looking for a research consultant to carry out the research, which is guided by the following research questions:
 What are the gaps in social protection policies and mechanisms in Lebanon?
 What is the impact of these gaps in their policies on the most vulnerable groups in Lebanon?
 What are the recommendations to improve social protection mechanisms in Lebanon?
The researchers are expected to review indicators and factors interrupting the social protection of the mentioned groups and to suggest the recommendations for the improvement in the social protection mechanisms.

The Lebanese Observatory for Workers and Employees Rights- LOWER is looking for a Web App Developer/ company to develop, program, design, prototype, test, maintain and assist in the launch of a multi-platform web application to support the My Work My Rights network in archiving and monitoring the violations against the decent work agenda.
