Under the management of the Medical Officer, the Medical Assistant contributes to ensuring medically-sound implementation of la Chaîne de l’Espoir’s activities in Lebanon.

The Logistics Procurement & Security Officer implements and ensures the implementation of all CDE procedures applicable related to logistics, procurement and security. S/He is in charge of managing the procurement of goods and services and logistics aspects, and all security aspects, for CDE program and local branch in Lebanon in compliance with CDE internal procedures and good procurement procedures. S/He works under the supervision of the Head of Mission and coordinates directly with the relevant departments at Headquarters level in France.

To conduct a systematic, objective and comprehensive evaluation of the above-mentioned project, its design, implementation, results through 2 main axes, with a particular focus on access, accountability, gender/disability inclusion, ethics and protection mainstreaming.

Under the direct management of CDE Project Manager, he/she is the lead expert for CDE to ensure the correct implementation of CDE technical support projects related to the activities.  

Intensivist specialized in the management of post pediatric cardiac surgery cases, working in a cardiac surgery intensive care unit, currently operating without the continuous presence of a specialist intensivist doctor.

Under the direct management of CDE Project Manager, he/she is the lead expert for CDE to ensure the correct implementation of CDE technical support projects related to the activities.  

Nurses specialized in pediatric cardiac surgery post-operative intensive care unit, for working in a cardiac surgery intensive care unit.

Under the management of the Head of Mission, the Logistics and Security Assistant is responsible for the implementation of all CDE procedures applicable related to logistics, security and safety. S/he is charge of the timely and adequate coordination with all the relevant departments, especially the Program department, to ensure strict compliance with donors and CDE procedures; along with ensuring a safe and secure environment from workspace to project implementation.

Under the management of the Project Manager, the Project Officer contributes to the timely and quality implementation of la Chaîne de l ’Espoir’s activities, managing a team of three to four (3-4) staff, including a MHPSS Case Worker and 2 to 3 social workers.

CDE is implementing a project to better prevent, detect, and treat Congenital Orthopedic Disorders (COD) until end of February 2024. This project includes various types of treatment such as surgeries, casting, assisting devices, and physiotherapy for children of ages 0 to 18. In the frame of this project, CDE is looking for a physiotherapist consultant / physiotherapy company who are able to provide regular physiotherapy sessions (up to 3 times per week) for patients in Wadi Khaled and/or Aarsal.
