Itvism

ITvism was founded in 2011 by a group of multimedia experts to promote the use of Information Technology (IT) in the civil society sector and support civic activism through digital platforms. ITvism capitalizes on open-source software and crowdsourcing tools that place powerful, low-cost technologies within the reach of NGOs to support citizen-driven content and the integration of offline and online events.
In 2013, ITvism joined forces with Wedia and Kamashtak to better leverage resources in the service of Lebanese society. The merger brings together the creative forces behind the Kamashtak campaign, the expertise of Wedia in social media optimization, and the technological know-how of the ITvism crew to provide a full-service communications hub for civil society organizations and private sector clients.
