Call for Provision of Training on Long Term Subsidized Primary Healthcare Protocol

IOM in direct coordination with the MOPH, aims to provide migrants and marginalized communities equitable access to health services by working on their integration within the existing supported services. Under the umbrella of MOPH, IOM will work to increase the number of supported PHCs under the MOPH network through subsidized packages of services. This will support access to healthcare for vulnerable communities while ensuring high quality in the services provided as outlined in the protocol named long term primary health care subsidized protocol (LPSP).

Call for expressions of interest for the establishment of a community resource center in the North Lebanon

دعوة

Lebanon has historically experienced significant outward migration. However, in the past three years, the country has faced a severe economic crisis, resulting in a substantial increase in irregular migration to Europe. Recent research conducted by IOM reveals a noticeable rise in the willingness of individuals to migrate irregularly from Lebanon. The majority of irregular migration movements occur along the North Lebanese coast, particularly near Tripoli, which is Lebanon's most impoverished city.

IOM’s protection unit aims to promote and uphold migrants’ rights and support migrants and other vulnerable communities to access and exercise their rights. The unit also supports Ministries and Government entities in their roles in promoting and fulfilling migrants’ rights. Specifically, direct assistance includes case management, and protection services as well as assisted voluntary return and reintegration for migrants in vulnerable situation.
