"Hit the Road....Break the Code"
GIZ ZFD in Lebanon and in collaboration with SALTO-Youth Euromed will be organizing the first Lebanese National Tool Fair "Hit the Road....Break the Code" from 29 June till 1st of July 2018. The tool fair will gather active Facilitators, Trainers, and Activists in Lebanon and will provide them with a space to share a tool they have created/developed under the topic of social cohesion.
Sharing might take the form of:
Workshop: a 60 to 90 minutes activity during which they implement a workshop using the tool they want to share with participants and will get feedback from them at the end of the workshop
Open Tools Market: during which they will present their tool in a common space called "Open Tools Market". Each presenter will be provided with a physical space and other participants will be able to rotate and to experience the different tools.
Around 8 participants will have the chance to participate in international tool fairs in Armenia and Croatia in 2018.
The tool fair will be followed by a conference on the 7th and 8th of December 2018. The conference will gather the tool fair participants to reflect and evaluate the process, and on the 7th of December, stakeholders (Ministries, International Organizations, Local Organizations, Agencies, Institutions, Universities etc..) will gather around the topics of Youth Work and Non Formal Education and its importance in the development of young people skills, paving the way for a recognition strategy of Youth Work and Non Formal Education on a national level.
For the National Tools fair in June 2018, We would also like to offer Organizations/Institutions/Agencies/Universities and through "The Open Tools Market" the space to share:
· A toolkit / A manual / A publication they have developed
· A project/Activity they have implemented under the theme of social cohesion
