Request For Proposal #bey/2016/001 For Capacity Building Trainings For Municipalities

As part of the Department for International Development of the United Kingdom (DFID) project with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) under the title: "Multi Sector Humanitarian Assistance to Conflict Affected Populations in Syria and Lebanon". DRC has started implemented a capacity building project to increase the hosting capacity of Lebanese communities as regards displacement-affected populations and to support local authorities in their preparation and planning for, and response to, the shelter and basic service needs of the community.

The overall purpose of the “capacity building trainings for municipalities” is to design and implementeffective capacity-building trainings across a range of key topics that have been selected based on the needs of DRC partner municipalities (identified as per a needs assessment process) located across North and Central Lebanon.

As such, DRC will contract NGOs, companies, or individual trainers to design and deliver a package of capacity building trainings to staff in DRC partner municipalities. This includes developing training, plan, methodology, delivery and evaluation. The RFP with detailed requirements can be collected from DRC Offices Danish Refugee Council, 7th Floor
