CWB is a Lebanese non-governmental organization initiated in 2017 by a group of activists and experts interested in promoting inclusive and resilient socio-economic development across the country. It aims to operate under five programs and adopts the principles of partnerships, targeting, empowerment, gender equality, and innovation. CWB has a head office in Ras Baalbeck where it operates a 2.5 ha demonstration plot for climate smart agriculture and seedlings production nurseries.

In 2022, CWB, under its agriculture program, produced 15 million seedlings at break-even cost supplied for farmers in North-East Baalbeck. It strengthened Oregano value chain in the targeted area and established the ground to start offering grafting service. It developed a 5-years strategy to introduce climate smart livelihoods and support the development of SMEs with a special focus on women and youth. CWB is looking to hire a Senior agriculture Manager to be part of its agriculture team and lead the implementation of its agriculture program strategy.

Under the project titled: “Supporting climate smart agriculture value chains in North-east Baalbeck while addressing food availability and accessibility through a conflict sensitive approach” funded by the Embassy of Switzerland in Lebanon.
Cooperation Without Borders seeks to have on board professional outreach officers with an agriculture background to help identifying potential beneficiaries of farmers in the North-east Baalbeck (Arsal, Labwe, Nabi Othman, Ain, Fakiha, Rass Baalbeck and Qaa).
He/She will be required to conduct pre and post support assessment including needed follow-up.

The objective of the Agriculture Engineer position is to supervise, under the seedlings production and open field crops value chain, activities with various stakeholders.
He/She will provide technical assistance and guidance to site manager, farmers, and other local beneficiaries across the seedlings production and open field crops value chain, ensuring the achievement of successful deliverables.

The objective of the Social Worker position is to coordinate psycho-social support and education across all project activities and ensure proper referrals to identified cases to specialized stakeholders. 

The objective of the Principal Physician position is to coordinate all project health activities and ensure that patients are served based on the standards and spirit of the CWB. The Principal Physician shall coordinate all referral activities as well as proper documentation of inspections for all served beneficiaries.

The objective of the Nurse position is to coordinate the supply of medical services in the MMU and ensure proper live data entry for patients served.  The nurse shall coordinate daily supply of medicine with the Hub assistant to make sure health stock is properly managed.

The objective of the Hub Assistant position is to manage the project stock, financial issues, and admin work (including asset management) to ensure the MMU team is applying and answering donors request and CWB operation requirements. The Hub Assistant shall perform various administrative duties, including maintaining project documentation and managing financial queries.

The objective of the Transportation Vehicle’ driver position is to make sure the mobile car asset is properly maintained and protected to help the team deliver the best services for the most vulnerable.
