Lebanon Has To Criminalize Torture! A Call To The Lebanese Deputies

In the framework of the world campaign of OMCT entitled “No circumstances can justify torture”
The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH), Centre Nassim for the rehabilitation of victims of torture, the Lebanese Association for Education and Training (ALEF – Act for Human Rights), Justice and Mercy Association (AJEM), Alkarama Foundation, Restart Center for the rehabilitation of victims of violence and torture are pleased to invite you to: A joint press conference entitled Lebanon has to criminalize torture! A call to the Lebanese Deputies
The press conference is part of the world multiannual campaign entitled “No circumstances can justify torture” conducted by the World Organization Against Torture (OMCT) in cooperation with the member organizations of the SOS-Torture network. The objective of this campaign is to mobilize the public opinion on the fight against torture and to support the implementation of the UN Convention against torture. This campaign is funded by the EU and the Oak Foundation.
