Senior Livelihoods Officer

The senior project officer role is to build and maintain a collaborative relationship with partners while ensuring the implementation of works is timely and relevant and that all challenges are reported and
addressed to feed into future designs

The Project assistant for AFDAL phase IV Project will be responsible for coordinating, assist the project manager in managing and implementing the project, that aims at providing agriculture support to greenhouses vegetables farmers and livestock farmers. This position requires a solid understanding of the agricultural sector, along with project implementation skills to ensure the smooth execution of initiatives and achievement of project goals.

The Gender and Protection Officer implements Gender and protection (GBV & CP ) prevention and response interventions and contributes to the overall CARE programing in Lebanon. The position focuses on mainstreaming and integrating gender and women empowerment in a Food security and Livelihood project.

The Safety & Security Strategy Development Consultant will work closely with one of CARE’s local partners to develop a detailed Safety and Security Strategy to ensure safe and secure processes for staff well-being, the organization’s reputation, and to protect their assets and data.

The Program Strategy Development Consultant will work closely with one of CARE’s local partners to develop a detailed Program Strategy that directs the organization’s programs and improves the program performance

The Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) in emergency under the BASATINE program will hire four full-time and paid Community Based Trainers (CBTs). Their main responsibility will be to mobilize, establish, train, and mentor saving groups throughout the life of the project. Likewise, the CBTs will be required to continuously engage and strengthen the capacity of the VSLA leaders and members, so it is highly recommended that they come from and live in the same communities where the saving groups will be established.

CARE is currently seeking a dynamic expert who will lead the contextualization and operationalization of the Food Security and Livelihood Strategy for the Country Office. The position will lead the design of innovative and practical economic empowerment and food security programs and builds on CIL’s experience in market systems, value chains, SME support, Food Security and skills building approaches that focus on local markets.
