Besme Opening Ceremony & Photo Exhibition

A jury of respected professionals has the daunting task of selecting prize-winning photographs from over 650 submissions of more than 100 university students for Besme Photo Contest. . Award-winners will be announced on 14 April 2015 at Riviera Hotel with great opening ceremony of Besme Group under the auspices of His Excellency, Minister of Social Affairs, Mr.Rashid Derbas and in the presence of Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, His Excellency Mr. Suleyman Inan Ozyildiz. The Head of the Jury is Mr.Jamal Saidi, Honorary President of the Lebanese Union of Photographers and chief photographer at Thomson Reuters, accompanied by privileged Lebanese photographers Dr. Salih Rifai and Dr. Rania Mouawad. Mr. Saidi will explain the technical criteria about the selection process of first five works and other best 45 photographs will be exhibited. The photographers of exhibited works will get the Besme certificate for their attendance to the competition. The exhibition runs until April 15th.
إن لجنة التحكيم المؤلفة من مهنيين ذوي الإختصاص لديها مهمة صعبة لإختيار أفضل الصور الحائزة على جوائز نقدية من بين مجموعة رائعة لأكثر من 650 صورة أرسلها أكثر من 100 طالب جامعي إلى مجموعة بسمة. سيتم الإعلان عن الفائزين ضمن حفل إفتتاح المجموعة الواقع في 14 نيسان في فندق الريفيرا في تمام الساعة الخامسة بعد الظهر تحت رعاية وزير الشؤون الإجتماعية الأستاذ رشيد درباس وبحضور سعادة السفير التركي في لبنان السيد سليمان إنان أوزلديز. يرأس لجنة التحكيم السيد جمال سعيدي الرئيس الفخري للإتحاد اللبناني للمصورين ورئس المصورين في وكالة تومسون رويترز يرافقه خبراء في هذا المجال وهم الدكتور صالح الرفاعي والدكتور رانيا معوض. سيقوم الأستاذ جمال سعيدي بشرح المعايير التقنية التي تم إختيار الصور الأفضل على اساسها. أيضاً سيقام معرض للصور الأفضل وسيمنح أصحاب هذه الأعمال أيضاً شهادة مشاركة. سيستمر المعرض إلى 15 نيسان.
