Consultant On Small Business Managment Related To Fishery
Objective of the consultancy and scope of work
Deliver trainings for fishermen and their communities within the project ‘Fisheries Management for Improved Livelihoods of the Coastal Fishing Community in Tyre (South Lebanon)’ on SMB. The training will require a consultant to carry out the training sessions and the production of the training material and reports.
Specific Tasks
Through a consultative and participatory process, the consultant will work closely with the program manager and project coordinator to perform the following activities:
a. Develop a curriculum for the training (Including an overall description of the structure of the programme; the aims and learning outcomes for each session or part of the programme; an outline lesson plan for each taught session, which demonstrates how the session is to be delivered such as the methodology, tools, techniques etc...
b. Conduct the training needs assessment to all participants through pre-testing and post-testing
c. Provide training on SMB
e. Facilitate all the processes of the training by using the various methodologies such as brainstorming, demonstration, group discussion, case studies etc...
f. Document the training manual that will be used later on by the organization and produce an initial findings training reports and provide some recommendations if needed in collaboration with the program manager and officer.
Timing
This consultancy will be for 10 working days during an interval of 3 months between June 2014 to August 2014 including training preparation and 10 training sessions.
