We are looking for an experienced & motivated Trainer/NGO to train our project team in Narrowing the Gap in Child Protection for vulnerable children in and around the Palestinian Refugee Camps & Gatherings of Saida & Sour. The comprehensive training workshop is designed for PSS Trainers and Social Workers working in child protection, psychosocial support, and case management.

ARCPA/ AL-JANA is designing a new project that operates across Lebanon, including Palestinian refugee camps and gatherings to provide holistic interventions targeting Palestinian children, adolescents, youth, caregivers, and the wider community suffering from marginalization irrespective of their place of residence. Its work with UNICEF encompasses two main components: (a) Youth Support and (b) Child Protection.

ARCPA has been implementing a project titled “Promoting Good Governance through Arts, Media, and Development (ArMeD)” with the funding concept Taziz from ifa/ zivik. The project works with three main key actors and is founded on a theory of change that proposes the following: if we work with youth who are the future generation and NGO staff who themselves also work with and influence central actors, equipping them with the right tools in safe spaces.

ARCPA is seeking to partner with eligible and interested NGOs to implement activities across the Palestinian camps and gatherings in Lebanon under Youth Support programme – BRAVE Project. Building Resilient and Vibrant Environments (BRAVE) implemented by ARCPA/ AL-JANA with funding from UNICEF. Through this project, a number of activities are implemented to encompass life skills training; support for youth-led initiatives; protection; psychosocial support; etc... . To help it expand its reach, ARCPA is seeking two additional sub-partners to implement youth empowerment activities in Nahr El Bared camp and South Palestinian gatherings, with focus on the provision of life skills and digital skills.

(نبض بريف) هو مشروع مدته عام ينفذه مركز المعلومات العربي للفنون الشعبية/ الجنى في مخيمات وتجمعات اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في لبنان بتمويل من منظمة اليونيسف. يستهدف المشروع الاطفال والمراهقين/ت والشباب/ات الفلسطينيين والقاطنين في المخيمات والتجمعات التي تعاني من التهميش بغض النظر عن مكان اقامتهم في لبنان.
تتطلّع الجنى الى التعاون مع شريكين لتنفيذ الانشطة المتعلقة بالمشروع في مخيم نهر البارد والتجمعات الفلسطينية في جنوب لبنان مع التركيز على قدرة الشريكين على توفير أنشطة تدريبية في مجالي المهارات الحياتية والمهارات الرقمية.

Support for alternative media in Lebanon

As part of "Shabab Live" project, Al-JANA Center is looking for a Business Development consultant with an experience in strategies development and an emphasis on media outlets. The post holder will be part of “Our stories” platform project, in which s/he will be developing a marketing strategy to enhance the sustainability of the Platform.

Arab Resource Center for Popular Arts (AL-JANA), Maharat Foundation and DW Akademie are looking to recruit a lead researcher to coordinate the production of a Survey of Community and Alternative Media in Lebanon.

Shabab Live​ aims to spark more plural debates, where the voices of youth are truly represented. It supports young people in developing their #media skills and getting their message out to the public. If you are an NGO or a broadcaster based in Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Morocco, Algeria or Tunisia? And you have a project that aims to give young people a voice through media, apply before 19 April.
