Capacity Building - Consultant for Youth

Anera is opening a call for Expression of Interest for a wash project.

The consultant / consultancy shall perform an evaluation for a health project implemented in all 8 governorates in Lebanon. The project provides Healthcare centers (HCCs) with medications, Capacity Building and Awareness sessions to Beneficiaries. The External Evaluator is expected to asses the projects' overall performance.

Empowering Communities in Action is a community mobilization project being implemented in five Palestinian refugee camps (Shatila, Burj El Barajneh, Ein El Helwe, Beddawi, and Nahr El Bared) which aims to empower community members by improving their knowledge and practices toward WASH topics: Environmental hygiene, solid waste management (reduce, reuse, recycle, and anti-littering), menstrual hygiene, Covid-19 and Cholera.

Project Background:

Anera is implementing the “Peace through Sports” project, in collaboration with the Marshall Legacy Institution, the project aims to unite Lebanese and American youth through Peace Through Sports, a 24-month virtual exchange program to promote social cohesion, foster civic engagement, and showcase US values through the lens of sport.

Purpose of the employment:

Anera is looking for short-term life skills trainers to work on providing life skills for youth aged between 13 and 18, and support in guiding them during their youth-led initiative.

The objective of ARDI project (Agricultural and Rural Development Intervention) is to support 41 vulnerable farmers at Akkar Valley and Tyre Municipality by installing plastic greenhouses with irrigation systems.
The project also provides each farmer with the necessary seeds, seedlings, fertilizers, pesticides and tools needed for farming. Each farmer will get continuous training and coaching from specialized agricultural engineers across the whole project lifecycle ending Sept 2023.

The Project Manager will oversee PLUS project, he/she is expected to coordinate and complete the project on time within the set budget and scope. He/She will lead the project team, assign duties, and report results to the Program Manager & Program Director. A key role for this position is coordination with international companies, international donors and other stakeholders.

Anera Lebanon is looking for a Data Analyst to play a key role in its digital transformation activity. As a Data Analyst, you will ensure our tools and technology enable our teams to do their best work. You’ll work alongside the country manager and the MEAL manager to shape and maintain our data strategy and governance. You will develop resources (code, reporting templates, documentation, team training, or other how-to’s) and will serve as a front-line technical advisor. You will recommend best practices to make the flow of work of the different teams more efficient and productive.

The employability skills trainers are professionals experts in their fields that have a track record in training delivery. They will be providing career guidance for students and juniors, by highlighting the future of jobs in their fields and the top skills needed to land those jobs. They will also guide them to the best upskilling & learning opportunities. Lastly, they will coach them on how to brand themselves professionally to land a job that matches their career potential and aspirations.
