The Alawite Islamic Charity Association (AICA) is a local non-governmental organization (NGO) located in Lebanon, registered under the decree No. 4500/1950, was founded year 1950 in order to claim the rights of communities through development and social projects as well as health care and medical services.

Its projects and activities aim to mitigate all forms of discrimination towards civil rights access (medical, health, education, work opportunities, or any other additional required support), raise individual and collective awareness, mainstream protection and disseminate risks prevention

AICA's Social Services center a hub on Syria street between Jabal Mohsen and Tabbaneh providing support to the community in different fields such as medical consultations, psychosocial support, referral services, education and other services.

Alawite Islamic Charity Association (AICA) is looking for a a donor or a partner for establishing PSS center on Syria street between Jabal Mohsen and Tabani.

"Beit el mouneh" is an initiative supported by The Alawite Islamic Charity Association and The Social Center for Orphans and Widows . It aims to improve the socio-economic situation of widows in Jabal Mohsen and Tabbani. The project will focus on the following outputs: • Outcome 1: Vulnerable women (Widows and wives of men in jail) are empowered economically as well as socially. • Time frame: This project will be implemented from 2017 till 2020. • Area of coverage: Jabal Mohseh and Tabbni • Target beneficiaries:  Direct beneficiaries: 25 women o Age Group: [35-50]  Indirect beneficiaries: 25 families in Jabal Mohsen and Tabbani
