"international Women Day" Cycling Night Ride With Abaad (7 - 3 - 2014)

To commemorate International Women's Day, and to demand gender equality and safety for all women and girls on the streets and at home, from harassment, violence and discrimination, CyclingCircle and ABAAD cordially invite you to the “International Women Day Cycling Ride” on Friday the 7th of March 2014.
To promote safety for all women on the streets, we would like participants to wear a white shirt as dress code. That way we can all be visible at night and we can better communicate the objectives of the ride to the public. A flier about International Women’s Day will be distributed all along the route to participants, pedestrians and people in cars.
Bike Generation will be sponsoring this event by providing 25 bicycles (for free) for 25 women who would like to participate at the IWD night ride.

Length of the track: approx 15kmLevel: Medium
Gathering will be at Bike Generation - Tahwita at 7h20 p.m. and the ride starts at 8h00 p.m., passing by Fern el Chebek, Mathaf, Badaro, Damascus street, Sodeco, Achrafie, Gemayze, DownTown, Ain el Mrayse and back to Tahwita. The ride will end around 11h00p.m.
The ride is fully covered by Commercial Insurance, organized by CyclingCircle and escorted by Bike Generation who will provide a support car and cycling marshals.
Bicycles are equipped with lights and all participants are obliged to wear a helmet for their safety
