Call For Participation | Training On The Identification And Referral Of Survivors Of Gender Based Violence

ABAAD - Resource Center for Gender Equality with partnership with HIVOS invites you to participate in a training on “the Identification and Referral of Survivors of Gender Based Violence”. This workshop is the second training in a series of trainings aimed at introducing the participants to:

The Concepts of Gender Based Violence and Sexual and Reproductive Health How to organize support groups for women survivors of GBV, How to use the animation video “marriage in not a game!” as a tool to combat Child Marriage.
The training will be conducted on Wednesday and Thursday, February 25 & 26 from 9AM until 2:30PM in Beirut: Padova Hotel, Sin el Fil (http://www.padovabeirut.com/map.gif)

This training will address the following:

Ways to identify survivors or people at risk of GBV Principles of active listening Importance of maintaining privacy and confidentiality Referral pathways for needed services
